Delete Your Account
Effective: October 25, 2026
Your account, your call
You can delete your Obsidian City account and the data tied to it at any time, for any reason, at no cost. Obsidian City (obsidian.city) is operated by Willow Rain Company LLC. This page is the deletion route — there is no separate delete button hidden in your account pages — and it explains exactly how to request deletion and what happens next.
How to request deletion
Tap the button below. It opens your email app with a deletion request already filled in — the subject line, the address it goes to, and the details we need are all composed for you. Send it from the email address on your account so we can match the request to the right account.
Request account deletionPrefer to write the email yourself? Send it to willow.rain.llc@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my Obsidian City account” and tell us the email address on the account.
- Send the request from the email address on your account, if you can.
- We confirm the account is yours (see the verification step below).
- Once verified, deletion starts right away and the 7-day grace period begins.
How we verify it is you
Deletion is permanent, so we check before we delete. A request sent from the email address on the account is normally all the proof we need. If you cannot send from that address — for example, you lost access to that inbox — tell us in your message, and we may ask a simple question only the account holder would know the answer to, such as a domain or order connected to the account. This protects your data from someone else asking in your name. We will never ask for your password.
What gets deleted
- Your account — your Obsidian City sign-in and the customer record tied to it, including your name and email address as stored with the account.
- Your sessions — once a verified request is processed, you are signed out and your account access is disabled on every device.
- Your order requests and order history held by us — the order information stored with your account, including checkout requests sent through this site.
- Your reviews — any review you submitted under your account or email address is removed.
- Preferences saved in your browser never leave your device, so there is nothing for us to delete: clear them by clearing your browser’s site data for obsidian.city.
What cannot be deleted, and why
- Domain registration records. If you registered a domain through this site, the registrant details you provided were passed to our accredited registrar partner, which must keep registration records under its policies and applicable registry and ICANN rules. Those records sit with the registrar, not with us, and we cannot erase them. We will tell you exactly what is being kept and why.
- Your domains themselves. Deleting your account does not cancel a domain registration. A registered domain stays registered in your name until it expires. If you want to keep a domain, renew it or move it to another registrar before you ask us to delete your account — after deletion, we may no longer be able to help you manage it.
- Payment records held by Stripe. Payments are processed by Stripe, and transaction records Stripe holds as the payment processor are Stripe’s records under its own policies. Deleting your account removes the order data we hold; it does not rewrite Stripe’s transaction history.
Timeline and grace period
- Right away: once your request is verified, your account is marked for deletion and your sign-in sessions are ended.
- 7-day grace period: changed your mind? You have 7 days from the day deletion starts to cancel the request (see below) and keep your account.
- After 7 days: the data listed above is permanently erased from our systems, and erasure is completed within 30 days of your verified request. Permanent deletion cannot be undone, and after that point there is nothing left for us to recover or hand back.
- Confirmation: we reply to the email address on the account when your request is verified, and again when permanent deletion is complete.
How to cancel a deletion request
Inside the 7-day grace period, tap the button below — it composes a cancellation message for you — or email us from the address on your account with the subject line “Cancel my Obsidian City account deletion”. Your account then stays as it was. After the grace period ends and deletion is complete, a request cannot be cancelled.
